Test Prep

Price reflects one hour of tutoring

High School Entrance

Includes: One hour of one on one online learning. Notes will be provided as well as classwork and homework assigned by the tutor. Students will learn useful skills so they can ace the Specialized high-school entrance exams. This covers the SHSAT, TACHS, SSAT, essays for high-school entrance & more. (In-person may be available upon request)

College Entrance

Includes: One hour of one on one online learning. Tutors will teach students skills to do well on the college entrance exams (SAT, SAT II, ACT, etc). We will also offer professional guidance on applying for college/universities. This covers assistance on applying on the common app, CUNY portal, SUNY portal. Common App essay help and supplements required by individual universities are also included. This will ensure your college applications go as smoothly as possible.

Advance Placement (AP)

Includes: One hour of one on one online learning. Notes will be provided as well as classwork and homework assigned by the tutor. Advanced Placement classes are extremely tough as there's so much to learn in such a short time. However, it can pay off by granting students early access to college credits. Tutors will vigorously guide students on how to pass the AP test as well as stay on top of the class. (In-person may be available upon request)

Terms and agreements & Cancelation policy

Terms and Agreements:

  • Our tutors work hard to provide every student with material to ensure individual growth, it's essential that the student/family also put an equal effort into assisting the tutors.
  • To provide the best learning experience, the learner must come to the session ready to learn with a writing utensil, something to write on, and assigned homework completed.
  • If the session needs to be rescheduled or is delayed please inform the tutor in a reasonable time frame.
  • No show no calls will not be refunded or compensated.
  • Late arrivals with no prior notice will not be compensated.
  • Payments must be made one week before scheduled sessions.
  • For all online sessions: the learner must have Zoom and a working webcam and mic.
  • We reserve the right to terminate future sessions (with a full refund) if necessary. 

Cancelations:

  • We understand that things happen, a full refund will be granted if it's requested within 12 hours before the start of the session.
  • The first 3 last-minute cancelations will also be excused and refunded or properly compensated (per 6 months).
  • For all other cancelations, a 10% fee will be charged to the refund.
